WE GET IT
Here's our story.
Saving is something we usually don't think about, learn about, and therefore, don't do. And the word "finance" makes me nauseous. I was a public school teacher and nonprofit worker, and I didn't know how to save / thought I was too broke to start. I realized though, if I can tip a bar tender then I should start tipping myself. I was already spending $10 on Lyft rides or $15 on dinner, so what if I automatically added on a few bucks to each one of those costs and put it directly into savings. That's pretty much it, except I wanted it to be for everyone...or at least everyone who may be struggling like me!
We made an app that fit saving into your lifestyle without disrupting it. Our goal is too make sure that all of us are saving more so we are less stressed out. Oh yea, and unlike most of the stuff out there we like to keep things transparent:
No hidden fees
Don't just take it from us
Listen to some of our users.
"I know that in my industry saving is super important because jobs can come and go and as much as I want to enjoy the moment now I use noncents to make sure the future is just as enjoyable."
JAY ELLIS, STAR OF INSECURE ON HBO
"As a recovering multitasker [OR aspiring polymath], I have dozens of different employers each year, and none of them offer retirement or savings plans. And my multitasking[/polymathing] never reached levels where I sorted out my own finances - that always felt too complicated or distant. So noncents has been, in the words of Jay Z, 'so necessary.'"
"I never had a job with a 401K, which means I never started saving for my future. I am not even sure what a 401K is. So I use noncents to make sure I’m not working until I’m 80 because I didn’t have the wherewithal to save for my future without it."
MAGGIE LIN, NONPROFIT EXECUTIVE
"I don’t like saving but I know I need to. I could never bring myself to start but noncents makes it so easy. Not much more to it, It’s an app that gets the job done.”
